Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

This policy covers nashvillebuilderspro.com. It is written in plain English because a policy you cannot read is not telling you anything.

The short version. If you fill in the quote form, your details are sent to Storm Guard Roofing, a contractor who pays us to receive them, and they will call or text you about your project. We keep a copy, encrypted. We use Google Analytics to count visits. We do not sell your information. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

When you request a quote

The quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the area you are in, and details of your project, including the property type, the kind of work, your timeline and anything you choose to write in the description. Giving us a street address is optional.

We also record which page you came from, so we know which part of the site led to the request.

Automatically

Your IP address is recorded briefly when you submit the form. It is used to stop the same machine submitting the form hundreds of times, and for nothing else.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets its own cookies and collects usage data under Google’s terms rather than ours. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person rather than a bot. The site is served through Cloudflare, which sees requests as they pass through.

The site sets a session cookie so the form can remember what you typed if a step fails validation. It is not used for advertising.

Who we share it with

This is the part most people want to know. When you submit the quote form, your name, contact details and project description are sent to Storm Guard Roofing of Franklin, TN. They pay us to receive those requests, and they are the only contractor we send them to. They will contact you about your project. We are paid whether or not you hire anyone.

A copy of your request is also emailed to us so we can see what came in.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone beyond Storm Guard Roofing and the services that run the site: our web host, our email provider, Cloudflare and Google Analytics.

Agreeing to calls and texts

The quote form has a box you have to tick before you can send it. Ticking it means you agree that Storm Guard Roofing may contact you about your project by phone call and text message at the number you gave us, including by automated dialling or texting systems. You do not have to agree to this to buy anything, and agreeing is not a condition of using the rest of the site. Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply.

You can stop the texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask Storm Guard Roofing to stop calling by telling them so. If that does not work, tell us and we will pass it on.

When you tick the box we record what you agreed to: the date and time, the wording that was on the page at that moment, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser. We keep that record so that both you and Storm Guard Roofing can see exactly what was agreed to, and the identifying parts of it are encrypted in the same way as the rest of your request. We do not use it for anything else.

How it is stored

Quote requests are encrypted when they are written to our server. The key that would decrypt them is not kept on the web server, so someone who obtained the stored file could not read the requests in it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as they are useful for answering questions about a job, and we delete them on request. Google Analytics keeps its own data on Google’s retention schedule, which we do not control.

Your choices

  • Ask us what we hold. Email us and we will tell you.
  • Ask us to delete it. Email us and we will remove your request from our records. We cannot delete it from Storm Guard Roofing’s systems, so ask them directly as well.
  • Stop being counted. Browser settings or an ad blocker will stop Google Analytics loading.
  • Stop the calls and texts. Reply STOP to any text, or tell Storm Guard Roofing you would rather they did not call. Tell us as well so we know.

Children

This site is for homeowners arranging work on a property. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
